Stefano Oliva is born on the 4th of august in the year 1977 in Mirandola ( Modena). He qualifies at the “ Institute of Art A. Venturi” in the year 1996 in the branch of the advertising graphic and photographi. From the secondary school, a certain capacity in the drawing and in the use of the colour has been claimed to him, he takes part in different competitions of painting in tempera for “ Genova’s Euroflora” and he comes in third. In the years after he euroles at the “ Institute of Art A. Venturi” of Modena where he stands out for fantasy and skill in the use of the colours, taking part with the school in a Pochoir – show in the “ Room of the French Consulate in Bologna”. After the diploma he’ s engaged in a printing and then in a graphic study where he will learn the most modern technique of the graphic on computer. In the year of the civil service carried out in Follonica he has the task of staging with his own photos a photographic – show about the rebuilding of the historic centre of the toscan city. After the civil service he fincs job in a publishing firm where he takes care of the illustration of different books for infancy. From the year 2000 he begins painting, after tryin different techniques, in oils. Actually inspired from the last travels spent in Honduras and Africa he’ s dedicating hinself to different canvas which represent the visited places and undoubtedly they will mark a turning- point on his creative way.
